COLOUR PLEATS – A FILM ABOUT LIGHT, COLOUR, AND CRAFT

Colour Pleats is a distinctive lighting series from Le Klint, where the iconic hand-pleated form is reinterpreted through carefully curated colours. To communicate the interplay between colour, light, and craftsmanship, we produced a brand film that highlights both the precision behind the pleating and the atmosphere the lamp brings into a space.

FILM OBJECTIVES

The aim of the film was to:

• Showcase how colour transforms the classic pleated design, adding depth, character, and a contemporary edge.

• Illustrate how the lamp shapes light – combining a focused downward glow with a soft, coloured ambience.

• Highlight the craftsmanship behind each pleat, emphasizing the precision and heritage embedded in every piece.

• Position Colour Pleats as a modern extension of Le Klint’s design legacy, appealing to both design-conscious professionals and private customers.

VISUAL STYLE AND TONE
